This project aims to identify and frame different perspectives on the theme of graphic design education, with the intention of broadening the discussion around this topic. It seeks to understand education, as well as the design practice, as a collaborative process, creating spaces for sharing and discussing different outlooks.

A workshop that followed the organization of some examples of non-formal teaching models was held as a main component of this project. It had the participation of several students and alumni of design who were able to interact in a structure that was distinct from the conventional ones prevalent in most Western educational institutions, allowing for a reflection on it.

To gather information capable of better substantiating the arguments and the perspective of analysis, three designers were invited for a discussion on the topic.

All the components are brought together in a publication named Mesa Redonda: Perspetivas Sobre Educação em Design Gráfico, which seeks to materialize the principles by which this project is guided.
